So what are your favorite go to scissors? Are they the ones you started out with or have you found these through experience? What is it you like about them? ----------

I started off with general cheap kitchen scissors (!) and a pair of decoupage scissors. Having tried a few general pairs (meant for crafting) at crops I didn't find anything better than I had. But then I bought a new paper trimmer that came with a free pair of scissors -- and I loved them soooooo much I now have several different pairs (styles/sizes) in the same make. Not sure they're available in the USA, but the make is X-Cut. ---------- Cheryl

I started with a pair of Fiskars Micro Tips and they worked just fine. But, for Christmas last year Santa left a pair of Cutterbee's in my stocking and those are definitely the ones I now reach for first! They are so sharp all the way to the tips, precise, and perfect for cutting small items, or tight places! ------------ Donna

i love my cutterbee titanium scissors, mostly due to their fine tip and no need to sharpen, but I'm really diggin on the tim holtz ionic scissors, they cut practically anything! ---------- http://nesascraps.blogspot.com

Can't remember the exact name & too lazy to go downstairs & get them. They are the bumblebee ones. Yellow handle. I have the nonstick blade ones. I really like them especially cutting sticky stuff.

The Cutter Bees (or Honey Bees) were my favorite for years & years... but now that I've actually tried the Tim Holtz ones - they EASILY win!!! They are self-sharpening, micro-serrated (so they kind of "grab" what you're cutting), have very comfy handles, and cut everything... paper, ribbon, stamp rubber, cloth. I have two pair, one for home & one in my to-go bag, LOVE THEM!!! ---------- Tracy Burtt tracy@thetreasureboxclub.com
