So what are your favorite go to scissors? Are they the ones you started out with or have you found these through experience? What is it you like about them?

I started off with general cheap kitchen scissors (!) and a pair of decoupage scissors. Having tried a few general pairs (meant for crafting) at crops I didn't find anything better than I had.

But then I bought a new paper trimmer that came with a free pair of scissors -- and I loved them soooooo much I now have several different pairs (styles/sizes) in the same make.

Not sure they're available in the USA, but the make is X-Cut.

I started with a pair of Fiskars Micro Tips and they worked just fine. But, for Christmas last year Santa left a pair of Cutterbee's in my stocking and those are definitely the ones I now reach for first! They are so sharp all the way to the tips, precise, and perfect for cutting small items, or tight places!

i love my cutterbee titanium scissors, mostly due to their fine tip and no need to sharpen, but I'm really diggin on the tim holtz ionic scissors, they cut practically anything!

Can't remember the exact name & too lazy to go downstairs & get them. They are the bumblebee ones. Yellow handle. I have the nonstick blade ones. I really like them especially cutting sticky stuff.

The Cutter Bees (or Honey Bees) were my favorite for years & years... but now that I've actually tried the Tim Holtz ones - they EASILY win!!! They are self-sharpening, micro-serrated (so they kind of "grab" what you're cutting), have very comfy handles, and cut everything... paper, ribbon, stamp rubber, cloth. I have two pair, one for home & one in my to-go bag, LOVE THEM!!!

Thinking I might need to try these Tim Holtz scissors.
