Posting Pics - Tutorial

Ready to post some pictures in a message board post, or want to include a picture in your signature line, but don't know how?  Don't worry - it's really easy - just follow these simple instructions:
To put a picture in a message board post:
1. Go to www.photobucket.com and open a free account (if you don’t already have one!).
2. Take a photo of what you’d like to share.
3. Upload your photo to photobucket.
4. Once your picture is on photobucket, you’ll see several lines of coding… you’ll need to click on the 3rd one down, “HTML Code”. Clicking on it will automatically “copy” the code.
5. Now, go to the message board and begin your post. When you’re ready to add the photo, right click and choose “paste”, the code that was copied from Photobucket will now show up in your post. You won’t see the image, just the code. Go ahead and finish your note & post it. When you go to the posting, you should now be able to see your picture.
To put a picture in your signature line:
1. Follow steps 1 through 4 above.
2. On the message board go to “user control panel”, then the 2nd choice down is “edit your online signature”, click this.
3. You can type any info you’d like to show up here (your mb name, special saying) and you can add a picture here by right clicking and choosing “paste” to put the code for your photobucket picture in your signature. Again, you won't see the picture here - just the code.  The picture should show up the first time you post after updating your signature.

Hope that helps! If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me or post a question on the message board.

Happy Posting!
